- Valid passport
- Medical clearance

Your cultural experience and setting
As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to experience Nepali culture and learn about the country’s unique challenges. You will be working in rural areas, where the people are often poor and have limited access to healthcare.
Food and accommodation
VIN will provide food and accommodation. You will be staying in hostels or with host families. You are responsible for any additional dietary requirements.
Schedule and commitments
The schedule for this project will vary depending on the location and needs of the project. You will be expected to commit to a minimum of two weeks.
Typical day
A typical day as a volunteer might include the following:
- Morning: Teaching yoga classes
- Afternoon: Conducting health education workshops
- Evening: Supporting people with chronic diseases
On Arrival Training
Two to three days on arrival orientation on project, health & safety, language & culture, planning, half-day excursions etc.
Monitoring and support system
A team of experienced professionals will support you. You will also have access to a 24/7 support system.
