Volunteer for Disability Employment
Introduction to the project:
Welcome to Volunteering Nepal’s volunteer program, Volunteer for Disability Employment. Our program promotes inclusive employment opportunities and supports individuals with disabilities to achieve economic independence. As a volunteer, you’ll be able to work closely with local communities, organisations, and individuals with disabilities, creating a positive impact and empowering them to thrive in the workplace.
In Nepal, there is a pressing need to address the employment challenges faced by individuals with disabilities. Many individuals with disabilities face barriers and discrimination when seeking employment, limiting their economic growth and self-sustainability opportunities. Our volunteer program aims to create a supportive environment, advocate for inclusive employment practices, and empower individuals with disabilities to achieve their full potential in the workforce.
