Child Sponsorship- Material Distribution

On the 16th of July, in the presence of Ward No. 1 Chairperson of Siddhicharan Municipality, Kedar Basnet, we distributed school supplies, sports materials, and school uniforms to the sponsored children of Taluwa, thulachhap and Bhadaure. We have been supporting 40 children’s education in the area.  We organized the event by following Covid -19 safety protocols. The sponsorship distribution event was organized at the NaraTika Community Learning Center (NTCLC), Nishankhe.  

The goal of child sponsorship project is to increase the school attendance and encourage children to complete their high school education. We have supported over 400 children to complete their high school education from poor and marginalized communities. Our aim is to have all children complete at least 12 years of schooling in our working areas. We ensure every child has the opportunity to attend school. 

Our Chairperson Kedar Basnet and VIN President Bhupendra Ghimire delivered a motivational speech to the children which were encouraging. The children were so happy to have the materials and the new hope could be seen clearly in their faces.
